Mar y Sol Wellness exists to support individuals who have been restricted, exploited, & harmed by systemic oppression, with the medicine of:

With intention, we strive to protect & regard as sacred, all human and non-human beings, as well as the life residing in the ecosystem of our current residence.
We believe in full autonomy & full sovereignty of an individual, trusting that inherent within each of us is the capacity to know what is best for our own self.
Our Story
Mar y Sol is equal parts intention, equal parts significance. The name Mar y Sol is rooted in the two environments that have shaped who I am: Mar (sea) y Sol (sun), and also the name that identifies a very sacred part of me, Marisol. Mar y Sol resembles two elements that are central to life: water & fire. Each have their own qualities, stories & personalities. Each contributing to “being” here on this planet.
About The Name
About Andrea Marisol
LCSW Therapist & Wellness Practitioner, Founder
Andrea (she/her/ella) is a Latine somatic trauma therapist who offers resources and support to those in search of healing through body-centered practice. In a therapeutic setting, Andrea utilizes a variety of somatic (body-centered) approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual. Specialties include those who are experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, grief & loss, chronic illness, OCD, PTSD, physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual abuse or neglect, experiences of immigration, and identity work. Andrea also specializes in working with those who identify as Latinx/a/o/e, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, parents/caregivers of young children, sex workers, and survivors of complex trauma.
Outside of therapy
Andrea seeks to disrupt oppressive systems by supporting the innate healing and well-being of other healing practitioners, and their communities. Areas of expertise and passion include:
